Last weekend I got out to explore again in an abandoned resort. Getting far too overgrown and buggy and hot to explore it much more this summer, but we got a few good hours in. More from the day will soon be up in my Self, Abandoned collection at Snap MyLife.
Day 176: "Chaos is inherent in all compounded things"
Day 177: A Woman's Work is Never Done
Back at home...
Day 178: Untitled
I loved the comment one Flickr user made, that this is not so much 'voyeuristic' as it is "more like an intimate moment shared or a glimpse caught quickly from the corner of an eye." Yes, exactly.
Day 179: Moored
I was really proud of what I accomplished using only my iPhone and Snapseed on the phone (a little challenge for myself since I was at the beach this day)
Day 180: Recesses of Memory
Practicing bw tones, using natural light
Day 181: whatever you want me to be
Day 182: Floating Teeth
Not sure anyone 'got' this image (which is totally fine). Wasn't really supposed to be funny (though it kind of is), but more a comment on being scrutinized closely both from myself and from others, especially because I am doing a self-portrait project. Just had me thinking is all.
Tomorrow I'll have a post about making it to halfway through the year (today is the halfway mark, Day 183...nice to have a 366-day year to make it easy), as well as a video montage of the first 183 shots.
Meanwhile, please have a look at a post I wrote about my history with photography on the Snap MyLife Blog for Camera Day (which was Friday)! And by the way, if you are on Tumblr feel free to follow me. Seems I may be generally posting stuff with a raunchier edge over there among other things. :)
