The title of our show, by the way, is obviously tongue planted firmly
in cheek. A long while back, in the Female Self-Portrait Artist Support
Group, we ladies had a discussion about how self-portrait artists (and
particularly women SP artists) are viewed as being narcissistic and
self-indulgent.
So when coming up with our show title we just couldn't think of a better one for an all self-portrait exhibition. ;-)
