And for that I am grateful.
It is Thanksgiving here in the USA and while it is a day to eat lots of great food, it is also a day to be thankful.
The news is scary. The economy collapsing, attacks on foreigners in Mumbai... and at any given time inside my own head things are fragile, feelings are being hurt, insecurities swell, and fear can dictate my behaviors.
But it only takes a minute to gain perspective and know my life is good. As ever, there are two sides to the same story--the humanity that makes me cry and rage and despair, and the individuals who lift me up and make me laugh, love, and grow.
It is my choice every day what I choose to focus on; my choice from moment to moment. Today I will choose gratitude.
Safe travels to those of you who are traveling.
Peace and harmony to those who need it with their families. ;-)
Love for you always.
Thank you.
Yes, you.
